    A Very Fine/Large/Old Chinese Inkstone Carved with a Phoenix in clouds-19

    China, Qianlong mark (dated Qianlong 15?), late 19

    century.
    A very large and heavy rectangular and grey-green inkstone carved with a large Phoenix
    in clouds upper side and double full moon shape ink well, two inscription incised on
    the both sides, the back side has a dated Qianlong 15?, and carver incised as well,
    with aged old patina on the surfaces.
    It’s
    in fine condition but a minor repair on the lower right edges (see #2 and #3 photos).
    It measures 33.5cm x 24.5cm x 3cm, weight:6.5kgs. (13.5” x 9 5/8” x 1.25”).
